After ending a successful 40+year engineering and management career in the high tech field of fiber optics, Art and Kathy decided to fulfill their lifelong dream of owning a log home in rural northwest Pennsylvania. Having researched log homes and their construction for well over 30 years, they finally achieved their dream in 2008. Shortly thereafter, they decided to share their knowledge and experience with other like minded people.
